There are multiple opportunities within our service that volunteers find themselves drawn to.
What would I be doing?
- Customer service/ sorting goods in our shops
- Companion visiting/outings
- Driving locally
- Preparing simple meals within dove house
- Biography service
- Reception
- Sharing time and skills with patients/families
- Gardening
- Events and Fundraising
What would be my commitment?
- As little as a few hours a week or a few a month
- Your availability can be discussed with our Volunteer Resource Manager to find a good fit between you and a volunteer position.
What do shop volunteers do?
- Customer Service during normal opening hours
- Sort donated goods
- Wash and iron items
- Help us with small carpentry work and furniture maintenance
- Help pickup and delivery of larger donated items

How am I supported as a volunteer?
- A comprehensive orientation is provided for all new volunteers.
- Ongoing educational opportunities are offered throughout the year
- Supervision available as required
- Being part of a team culture
