Then you might want to join our team of volunteers without whom, we would not operate 

There are multiple opportunities within our service that volunteers find themselves drawn to. 

What would I be doing?

• Customer service/ sorting goods in our shops
• Companion visiting/outings
• Driving locally
• Preparing simple meals within dove house
• Biography service
• Reception
• Sharing time and skills with patients/families
• Gardening
• Events and Fundraising

What would be my commitment?

• As little as a few hours a week or a few a month
• Your availability can be discussed with our Volunteer Resource Manager to find a good fit between you and a volunteer position.

What do shop volunteers do?

• Customer Service during normal opening hours
• Sort donated goods
• Wash and iron items
• Help us with small carpentry work and furniture maintenance
• Help pickup and delivery of larger donated items

How am I supported as a volunteer?

• A comprehensive orientation is provided for all new volunteers.
• Ongoing educational opportunities are offered throughout the year
• Supervision available as required
• Being part of a team culture
• Working in a relaxed, happy environment
