Why do we require your support?
Because we receive no government support and rely entirely on the support from the community.
- EBH is a charitable, not for profit organisation with increasing operating costs.
- Projected operating costs for the next year are approximately $1,200,000 per annum.
- We receive no government funding and therefore rely purely on donations from the community, proceeds from our shops and fundraising events.
- All of our services are provided at no cost to the patient or their families.
You can support us by:
- Making a cash donation.
- Sending a donation in lieu of flowers
- Writing a bequest clause into your will
- Supporting our fundraising events.
- Donating goods for sale at our Hospice Shops.
Each $20 or multiples of $20 can do this:
- Sponsor an aromatherapy treatment for someone who needs some tender care after a diagnosis of cancer
- Sponsor a beauty treatment for someone who is struggling with a change inbody image through chemotherapy
- Provide a counseling session for a family member who has recently lost a loved one
- Sponsor a activity session for a group who meet regularly for support and companionship
- Provide petrol for the therapist to visit someone at home who can no longer get out.
- Support the 24hr care of someone in Eastern Bays Wing, who can no longer remain in their own home.
