Supporting People living with life threatening illnesses.

warrenWarren is a kiwi and has lived most of his life in Auckland. Married with two adult offspring, Warren and his wife Marie are now empty nesters.

Warren started his working life in the engineering and production side of the business world and he then advanced into management. Warren soon succumbed to the great kiwi dream to be self emplyed and 20 years ago bought his first second hand shop in Onehunga. It was soon decided that expansion was necessary and Warren and Marie moved their highly successful Cornwall traders to the more vibrant suburb of Newmarket. There they traded quite happily until they were made an offer they could not refuse for their premises. Rather than relocate after 20 years it was decided that it was time for a change.

During these years Warren honed his skills and formed a sound knowlege of retailing as well as a good undersatnding of the world of second hand and antique dealing. It is these skills that he will utilise to help and enhance the already brilliant job done by volunteers at the Hospice shop.

Warren is very excited about the development of the Apirana Store and Warehouse. The expansion will bring an improved layout and 40% more floor space will add significantly to the appeal. Warren is also looking to promote E. retailing by introducing our own sales sight, and other inititives include holding garage sales with local community groups. His aim is that we become the first choice for the community in recycled and second hand goods.
