What would I be doing ?

• Customer service/sorting goods in our shops
• Companion visiting/outings
• Driving locally
• Preparing simple meals within dove house
• Biography service
• Reception
• Sharing time and skills with patients/families
• Gardening
• Events and Fundraising

What would be my commitment?

• As little as a few hours a week or a few a month
• Your availability can be discussed with our Volunteer Resource Manager to find a good fit between you and a volunteer position.

What do shop volunteers do?

• Customer Service during normal opening hours
• Sort donated goods
• Wash, iron and steam items
• Help us with small carpentry work and furniture maintenance
• Help pickup and delivery of larger donated item

How am I supported as a volunteer?

• A comprehensive orientation is provided for all new volunteers
• Ongoing educational opportunities are offered throughout the year
• Supervision available as required
• Being part of a team culture
• Working in a relaxed, happy environment
