Apart from a short spell in the nursing profession, Sherril's skills have been used in various administrative and receptionist positions. She worked for a number of Church related facilities before applying for a position with Eastern Bays Hospice. Sherril has worked for the Hospice since June 1997 - starting in a small internal office in the old Adventist Hospital building (now Grace Joel). There have been many changes in that time, all of which Sherril has found stretching and challenging.

Sherril has always chosen to work in establishments where people and their well being are the focus. This emphasis is what Hospice is about and she continue's to enjoy being part of the team at dove house.

Sherril is married to John and they have three sons, three beautiful granddaughters and one grandson.
