How we are different

Our community based service has grown directly from the recognition that there are people 'living' with life threatening illness for a very long time. The service is specifically focused on 'living as well as you can be'.

The therapies and support programmes we offer reflect the importance we place on emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Although we are different, we are also complementary and work hand in hand with the specialist acute hospice and other health care providers.

 SHOP NEWS FROM MARY:

The BIG news is we will be holding our 2nd Garage Sale Saturday 13th February at our warehouse located at 134 Felton Matthew Ave from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00.  We have fantastic bargains on clothing, bric a brac, shoes, furniture, appliances, and books.  You won’t buy at better prices so bring your trailer and collect all your treasures by 3:00 p.m. and we accept Eftpos and cash only.

Apirana Ave.- We will shortly be expanding the interior of our Apirana store in order to bring our customers an even greater range of bargains.  As part of our service we will also have a showroom of excellent pre loved furniture at very competitive prices.  So watch this space.  Also, our Mayfair store will also be enjoying a “face lift” with some internal freshening up to make it a more enjoyable shopping experience.
 
St. Heliers – Our lovely bay store is proving very popular and if you wish to find that unique collectable or fashion designer item at great prices visit them soon.  They are open 7 days a week with trading on Saturday and Sunday 10:00 to 4:00 and Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:30.
 
Helpers Wanted:
The Apirana store is yet again in need of volunteers to join our great team any day of the week.  There are two shifts available daily, and if you wish to contribute your talents to a very worthwhile organisation, please contact Mary Hearn on 578-0836 Tuesday to Saturday to apply.  We promise you a wonderful group of women and men to work with and lots of fun.  No day is ever the same and you will certainly never be bored working in a very busy retail environment.  Come along and learn new skills and make new friends at the same time.
